There are over 130 events happening in Sydney this Summer as part of the famous Sydney Festival. There's everything from a circus, to fun art events for kids. There's a free trapeze event twice daily being held at Darling Harbour, an immersive whale experience at Bondi Pavilion , and free live music each night at Moonshine Bar.
Adelaide Fringe

There are over 1400 shows happening at the world famous Adelaide Fringe, so truly something for everyone! There's comedy, cabaret, salt caves, magic shows, video game exhibitions, yoga, and music.
Adelaide Festival

Adelaide Festival celebrates arts, theatre, opera, music, and visual arts. During the festival is Writers Week, a free literary festival where writers and readers can meet and share ideas.
Australian Open
When? 12th Jan - 26th Jan
Cost: Varies, free screenings available throughout Melbourne
Tickets are available from $15 in the opening week. There's also live music at the AO Precinct from artists lke Benson Boone, Kesha, and Kaytranada. There's plenty to do for kids at the Ballpark section, with waterslides, mini tennis courts, and the opportunity to meet characters like Peppa Pig.
Festivale
When? 31st Jan - 2nd Feb
Cost: 3 day pass $95
Festivale is a 3 day celebration of Tasmanian food, beverages, and entertainment. There's everything from live music to cooking masterclasses with celebrity chefs. There's plenty for kids with sensory areas, laser tag, and face painting.
Lotterywest Summer Nights
When? 11th Jan - 18th Jan
Cost: Free
Located at Elizabeth Quay nightly from 5-9pm, there's a floating stage with live performances, food, and fireworks!
Festival of Us
When? 26th Jan
Cost: Free
Located in Darwin, Festival of Us will be a celebration of the Northern Territory's diversity.
